Mengba town

Mengba Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Zhenyuan County, adjacent to Taiping Town in the East, Linjing Township in the south, Miaoqu Township in the West and Xinji Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 254.2 square kilometers.

In May 1940, the CPC Zhenyuan County Party committee and the county Anti Japanese democratic government were stationed in Mengba; in July 1985, Mengba township was built from the township. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in Meng Ba town was 41904. In June 2020, Mengba town governs one community and 14 administrative villages.

History of construction

In May 1940, Zhenyuan County Party committee and anti Japanese democratic government of the CPC were stationed in Mengba.

In March 1958, the district was removed and the township was established; in September of the same year, the Mengba commune was changed.

In December 1983, Mengba township was rebuilt.

In July 1985, the township was removed to build a town.
