Qiaohe Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Huachi County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Huachi County, adjacent to zifangpan Township in the East, Rouyuan town in the south, Rouyuan town in the West and liancha village in Baibao Town, Wuqi County in the north, with a total administrative area of 143.85 square kilometers.
In Tang and Song Dynasties, it belonged to Rouyuan town; in 1983, it was changed to Qiaohe town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Qiao he township was 5925. In June 2020, Qiaohe rural area governs six administrative villages.

History of construction
In Tang and Song Dynasties, it belonged to Rouyuan town.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to rouyuanli, Anhua County.
In 1912, it belonged to the Fourth District of Qingyang County.
In 1934, it belonged to Rouyuan District, Qingbei County, Shaanxi Gansu border region.
After September 1937, it belonged to Rouyuan District of Huachi County.
In 1958, it belonged to Rouyuan commune of Qingyang County.
In 1962, it belonged to Rouyuan commune of Huachi County.
In November 1979, Qiaohe commune was established.
In 1983, Qiaohe township was changed.

By the end of 2011, Qiaohe rural area had jurisdiction over six administrative villages: Maozhuang, dunshan, huwa, qizhuangzi, Zhangcha, huoshigoumen, and 42 villager groups.
In June 2020, Qiaohe village governs six administrative villages: huoshigoumen village, Maozhuang village, dunershan village, hujiawa village, Zhangcha village and qizhuangzi village. The Township People's government is stationed in huoshigoumen village.
