Shuangxian town
Shuangxian Town, subordinate to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the south central part of Jingning County, adjacent to Leida town in the East, Zhiping town in the south, Gangou town in the West and Weirong town in the north. The administrative area of Shuangxian town is 78 square kilometers.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the areas were Zhiping, Weirong, Mintun and yuncui.
From August 1949 to June 1950, it belonged to the second district (Weirong), the Fifth District (Gangou) and the eighth district (Leida). In December 1961, Shuangxian commune was established from Leida commune. In November 1983, it was changed into Shuangxian township. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. By the end of 2018, the population of Shuang Xian town registered residence was 13914. As of June 2020, Shuangxian town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Shuangxian village.
At the end of 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Shuangxian town was 2360 yuan. By the end of 2018, Shuangxian town had three supermarkets or comprehensive stores with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 2018, the township will be changed into a town.
