LianWu Township
Lian Wu Township, belonging to the Tianshui Hui Autonomous County of Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County, east to Sichuan Wang Zhen, South to Longshan Town, West to Mt. Ma, Zhuanglang to pan Anxiang, with an area of 42.7 square kilometers, and in 2018, 17930 registered residence population.
It was originally under the jurisdiction of Longshan District of Qin'an County. In July 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of Longshan, Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous Region. In August 1958, it was transferred to Maguan township. In December 1961, LianWu commune was established. In December 1983, it was changed to township. As of June 2020, LianWu township has jurisdiction over one community and 13 administrative villages.
In 2018, LianWu township has 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
It was originally under the jurisdiction of Longshan District of Qin'an County.
In July 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of Longshan, Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous Region.
In August 1958, it was transferred to Maguan township.
In December 1961, LianWu commune was established.
In December 1983, it was changed to township.
