Dongcha town
Dong Cha Town, belonging to Maiji District, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the eastern part of Maiji district. It is adjacent to Hudian Town, Chencang District, Baoji, and is connected to Dang Chuan town in the West and north of the city, and chicha town in Chencang District, Baoji. The area is 396.74 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population was 10965.
Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Sancha town. After 1949, it belongs to Sancha district and dongcha township. In 1958, it was changed into dongcha commune. In 1961, it was changed into dongcha commune. In 1983, the commune was withdrawn and dongcha township was restored. In January 2004, the villages of Longfeng, Jiaochuan, Panlong, Yaozhuang, Liyuan and dagouli were transferred to dongcha town. As of October 2019, dongcha town has 12 administrative villages.
