Lang Town
Lang County, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the town. It governs one neighborhood committee and eight administrative villages, including Langba neighborhood committee, Barre village, dizi village, Niang village, Shenmu village, duiba village, tuomai village, duibatang village and Chongkang village. It is located in the northwest of Lang County, Linzhi City, Tibet. The Yarlung Zangbo River passes through the border.

Zilong township was established in 1959. in 1988, zharequ was removed as Zilong township. In 1996, Zilong Township covers an area of 400 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It governs 15 administrative villages including Lang, bairuo, Shen, Lu, duiba, Qizi, Niang, Wolong, Biri, Rong, Zhaxi, JueJie, Chongkang, tuomai and Zhong'an. In 2000, Zilong township was changed into Lang town. It covers an area of 441 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 17 Village (neighborhood) committees and 24 natural villages. Town name
Lang, meaning "elephant trunk" in Tibetan, was once named Zilong.

The total length of the new flood dike is 12.61km, and the approved investment is 26.0494 million yuan. in June 2019, langzhen irrigation area project will be completed, including reconstruction of 3.2 km of main canal, reconstruction of 4.1 km of branch canal, and construction of 1.626 km of water conveyance tunnel, with a total investment of 30.1598 million yuan.
Ecological environment protection
In June 2019, zhuogang village of Zhongda town will set up a garbage sorting and exchange center. Villagers can exchange domestic garbage such as mineral water bottles and cans for daily necessities, so as to promote the work of garbage sorting.
famous scenery
The peach blossom forest in Barre village is one of the peach blossom ornamental spots in Lang County, about 18 kilometers away from Lang county. The peach blossom season is from mid March to mid April every year.
History and culture
Chongkang village of Lang town is the birthplace of the 13th Dalai Lama Tu Teng Gyatso, and Lang Zong manor is also located here. Ma Bao is an intangible cultural heritage. Its products are mainly made of cowhide and Meiling skin.
