Huishi town
Huishi Town, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Huining county. It is adjacent to Baliwan Township in the East, Dingjiagou Township in the south, xigongyi Township in Anding District of Dingxi City in the West and chaijiamen Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 186.8 square kilometers.
In 1950, five districts were set up in the county, and Chengguan was the first district. By the end of 2004, two villages of Taohuashan Township and Wangmiao Township in Chengguan town were merged into Huishi town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Huai town was 58092. In June 2020, Huishi town governs 8 communities and 8 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Huishi town was 21.429 million yuan, an increase of 42% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 75 industrial enterprises in Huishi Town, including 6 above scale and 80 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1950, the county set up five districts, the establishment of Township, Chengguan is the first district.
In 1952, the district office was renamed the district office, and Chengguan was still the first district.
In August 1956, Chengguan Township of Chengguan District was changed into Chengguan town.
In 1958, Chengguan commune was established.
In 1965, the whole county was merged into 20 communes in one town, namely Chengguan town.
In November 1969, Chengguan town was abolished and merged into Chengguan commune.
In April 1980, Chengguan town was restored.
On July 15, 1983, the township system was restored, and 32 communes in the county were changed into townships, including Taohuashan township (formerly Chengguan commune) and Chengguan town.
At the end of 2004, Huishi town was merged from Taohuashan Township and Wangmiao township of Chengguan town.
