Nanba Township, belonging to Yongchang County, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Yongchang County, adjacent to Jinshan Township, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City in the East, Huangcheng Town, Sunan Yugu Autonomous County, Zhangye City in the south, DONGDAHE canal head in the west, Dongzhai town and Liuba Township in the north, with an administrative area of 111.4 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 4609 people had registered residence in Nan Ba township. As of June 2020, 5 administrative villages were in the countryside of Nan Ba, and the township government was in Yongan village.

History of construction
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Yong'an township; in September 1949, it belonged to Yong'an district.
In December 1955, Nanba township was established.
In September 1958, Nanba commune was changed; in November, Donghe commune was merged with Dongzhai, Liuba and Baba communes.
In June 1961, Donghe commune was abolished and Nanba commune was still established.
In October 1964, it was incorporated into Liuba commune.
In September 1966, Nanba commune was established.
In June 1983, the government and society were separated and the township was restored.
In October 1985, the commune was abolished.
