Kushui town

Kushui Town, belonging to Yongdeng County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Yongdeng County. It is adjacent to Shuping town of Yongdeng County in the East, Central Township of Gaolan County in the southeast, Hekou township of Xigu District in the south, Ping'an town of Honggu District in the southwest, Honggu District in the west, Qishan township of Yongdeng County in the northwest, Hongcheng town of Yongdeng County in the north and Shuping town of Yongdeng County in the northeast. The area is 440 square kilometers. In 2018, 32305 people registered residence.

In 1958, Kushui commune was established. In 1967, it was renamed Xinhua commune. In 1970, it was renamed Kushui commune. In April 1983, it was changed to Kushui village. In 1999, the township was removed and the town was built. In June 2020, 12 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Kushui town.

In 2018, there were 38 industrial enterprises in Kushui Town, 5 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In the Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties, Zhiyang County, Jincheng Prefecture, was in the area of bitter water.

In Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Zhuanglang Prefecture.
