Caichuan town belongs to Danfeng County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the north of Danfeng County, bordering Yuling town in the East, longjuzhai street in the south, Shangzhen town in the West and Jingcun town in Luonan County in the north. The total area is 186 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, eight administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Caichuan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of CAI Chuan town was 13668. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Caichuan town was 46.68 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 34 million yuan.
Historical evolution

It belonged to Luonan County since Qianlong of Qing Dynasty.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to the Fourth District, yujiahe joint protection.
In 1949, Caichuan township was established.
In June 1953, it was assigned to Danfeng County.
In 1958, Hongguang commune was established.
In October 1961, it was renamed Caichuan commune.
In 1984, the township was set up.
In May 1997, Caichuan Township and andI Township were abolished and Caichuan town was merged.
