Baxian town belongs to Pingli County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the south of Pingli County, connecting Zengjia town of Zhenping county in the East, Chengkou County of Chongqing in the south, Huali town of Langao County in the West and Guangfo town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 18.9 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 17.6 km, with a total area of 313.59 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Baxian town has 16 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the population of eight immortals registered residence was 29558.
