Tanba town

Tanba town belongs to Hanbin District, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the middle of Hanbin District, it borders Gongjin town in the East, Wuli Town in the south, Shuangxi town in the West and Cigou town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 25 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9 kilometers, with a total area of 126.8 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

In the early years, there was a big sandalwood tree in the dam, so it was called Tanba. Over time, people mistakenly called it Tanba.

In 1961, Tan Ba commune was established.

In October 1983, Tanba township was established.
