Houying town of Liaocheng City is located in the southwest suburb of Liaocheng City. The town has 48778 people (2017) and 76000 mu of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 6 administrative areas and 64 administrative villages, with a total area of 76.74 square kilometers. It is the largest town in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province.

On December 24, 2019, it will be included in the list of national rural governance demonstration towns.
