Historical evolution
According to legend, this place used to be called Hexi post, but later it was renamed Hujia vegetable garden. During the reign of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1628-1644), the Song family flourished, so it was named songjiachuan.

Qing Dynasty belongs to yongfengli.
In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it belonged to Guihe and Shangzhong townships.
