Hongdunjie town belongs to Jingbian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the north of Jingbian County, adjacent to huanghaojie Township in the East, haizetan Township in the south, Henan township of Wushen Banner in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west, shaerligesumu and nalinhe Township in Wushen Banner in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north, and leilongwan Township in Hengshan District in the northeast. The maximum distance from east to west is 19.8 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 26.8 km, with a total area of 288 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
