Baocheng town

Baocheng town belongs to Mianxian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of the county, adjacent to hedongdian Town, Hantai District in the East, Laodaosi town in the south, Tonggou temple town in the West and Qingqiao post town, Liuba County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 5.4 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10.7 km, with a total area of 32.34 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Baocheng town has one community and six administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 12508. Historical evolution

Located at the south entrance of Baogu, it was the county government of Baocheng in Jiayou period of Northern Song Dynasty until the Republic of China.

It is said that from the Xia and Shang Dynasties to the Western Zhou Dynasty, this place was the state of Bao.

Baocheng was always the seat of Baocheng County in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was Lianfeng town.

Before 1958, it was the seat of Baocheng county.
