Xinyuan Street
Xinyuan street belongs to Hantai District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the northwest of Hantai District, bordering Laojun town and Beiguan Street in the East, Longjiang street in the South and West, Zongying town and Laojun town in the northwest and North. Its total area is 10.7 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Xinyuan street has four communities and five administrative villages. In 2011, Xinyuan street had a total population of 12053, with a total agricultural output value of 51 million yuan and a total industrial output value of 49.26 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named after Xingyuan lake. In 1992, with Xingyuan Development Zone (later renamed Xinyuan Development Zone) renamed Xinyuan street.
The district was originally Zhaozhai Township, Baohe District, county-level Hanzhong City, formerly known as zhaogongzhai, which was established in 1950.
In 1956, after merging with Liutai Township, it was called LiuTai township.
In 1959, it was changed into Liutai management area.
In 1961, Zhaozhai commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to Zhaozhai township.
In October 1992, Xinyuan street was rebuilt.
