Longfang town

Longfang town belongs to Huangling County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the northern tableland of Huangling County, adjacent to Adang town in the East, Qiaoshan street in the south, cangcun Township in the West and Sixian town in Fuxian County in the north. The total area is 152.68 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

On the northern weekend, the father of Li Yuan, Emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty, set up Mafang here. In the second year of Wude of the Tang Dynasty (619), he set up Fangzhou and retreated to Longfang town. In modern times, the homonym is Longfang.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was one of the six towns in the county.
