Lijiacha town
Lijiacha town belongs to Zichang City, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Zichang City, it is adjacent to anding town in the East, Pingqiao town in Ansai District in the south, qingyangcha town in Jingbian County of Yulin City and Shiwan Town in Hengshan County in the west, and Jianyucha town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 23 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 35 kilometers, with a total area of 434.12 square kilometers.
Lijiacha town is the hometown of general Xie Zichang. Its birthplace is zaoshuping village, 2.5km to the east of the town government.
As of June 2020, lijiacha town has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of 2018, the registered residence of Li Jia Cha was 21831. In 2011, lijiacha town received 100000 tourists with a tourism income of 80000 yuan.
Historical evolution
Because the surname Li lives at this fork in the road, so it's named.
In 1934, general Xie Zichang established the red regime in lijiacha township.
In September 1937, lijiacha township was located in the second West District of Xiuyan County, with jurisdiction over five townships, namely Donggou, lijiacha, Baishan temple, shihuicha and jingjinggou.
In 1949, it was called lijiacha district.
In 1958, Zichang commune was established.
In 1959, it was renamed lijiacha commune.
In 1961, yangdaomao and lijiacha communes were established.
In 1965, yangdaomao commune was abolished and merged into lijiacha commune.
In 1984, it was divided into two townships, lijiacha and Shijiawan.
In June 1998, lijiacha town was rebuilt.
In 2001, Shijiawan township was abolished and merged into lijiacha town.
