Historical evolution
Yuan Zhizheng eight years (1348), this place is seven miles away from the town of Yanchang, hence the name.
In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to yongheli, Licheng, renheli and anpingli in Yanchang county.
In 1930, it belonged to the Central District of Yanchang county.

Qili Village street is located in the hilly and gully area of the Loess Plateau in Northern Shaanxi, with high terrain in the West and low terrain in the East. Yanhe River runs through the whole territory from west to East. The landform can be divided into three types: Valley terrace, loess broad ridge residual Tableland and loess Ridge Hill. The main mountain ranges are heihusi mountain, Nanshan Mountain, Jiulian Mountain and Zhaishan mountain. The highest peak is located in heihusi mountain in the southwest of Qili Town, with an altitude of 1310 meters; the lowest point is located in Fengjia village, with an altitude of 750 meters.
