Erqu street, belonging to Zhouzhi County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the north of Zhouzhi County. The origin of place names
It was named after Li Erqu, a famous scholar in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. Another saying is that Erqu town is named after the mountain and water songs of Zhouzhi County.
History of construction
In the third year of Jiande in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (574), Zhouzhi County government moved from Zhongnan to here.
In 742, it was changed to Yishou county.
In 756, it was restored to Zhouzhi County.
In the early Ming Dynasty, the administrative district in the county was called Xuanhua square.
In the Qing Dynasty, the system of Ming Dynasty was adopted, and the city area of the county belonged to Xianjin Township, and the county was called "Xingren Li".
