Jiujianfang Town, belonging to Lantian County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the north of the east of Lantian County, the north foot of Qinling Mountains and both sides of Bahe River. It borders bayuan town in the East and Luoyuan town in Luonan County of Shangluo City, Lanqiao town in the south, Puhua town in the West and Yushan Town in the north, with a total area of 118.14 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
The origin of place names
In the Qing Dynasty, there were nine houses in this area, so the name of the nine houses was given to the residents. The town government got the name of the town because it was in Jiujian village.
History of construction
After 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Yushan district.
After 1962, jiujianfang commune was established.
In 1966, it was renamed new culture commune.
In 1976, the original name was restored.
In 1980, it was changed to jiujianfang township.
In 1982, it was moved from Dazhai village to nine rooms on the site.
In 2002, Zhangjiaping township was merged into jiujianfang township.
