Laodian town
Laodian town is located in the northwest of Fuyi District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is adjacent to Weifeng town in the East, Ganting street in the southeast and south, Yuchan street in the southwest, Ganhe town in the West and northwest, and fuzhai town in Xingping City of Xianyang city across Weihe River in the north and northeast, with a total area of 48.77 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Laodian town has 20 villages (residences), including 1 community and 19 administrative villages. In 2018, the registered residence of the waterlogged town was 39092. It is located at the East Bank of Laohe river. It used to have shops, so it got its name.
History of construction
A town has been set up in Ming Dynasty.
In 1777, Laodian was one of the five market towns in the county.
In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), kuwu Township Office was set up, with jurisdiction over 16 villages in laohedong.
In June 1949, it was renamed Laodian township.
In August 1953, Laodian district was set up.
In June 1956, it was changed into Laodian Township and was stationed in Zhaowang village.
