Xiangqiao Street
Xiangqiao street, belonging to Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Lintong city. It is adjacent to Guandao town of Linwei District of Weinan City in the East, Youhuai street in the south, Wutun town of Yanliang District across Shichuan River in the west, and Xinxing street of Yanliang District in the north, with a total area of 59.1 square kilometers.
Xiangqiao street is the hometown of famous film director Zhang Yimou, chairman and general manager of Xi'an Yinqiao group Liu Huaguo. With the development of dairy animal industry as the world's attention, it is one of the major dairy animal towns in Xi'an. According to legend, Prime Minister Kou Zhun once built a bridge on the Qinghe River around Xiangqiao, hence the name Xiangqiao.
