TANJIA Street
Tanjia street, belonging to Weiyang District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east of Weiyang District, connecting Chanba Ecological District in the East, xinjiamiao street and DAMINGGONG street in the south, Zhangjiabao street in the west, and xujiawan street in the north, with a total area of 16.58 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
The origin of place names
It was named after Tanjia village, the original residence of the office. It is said that in the Ming Dynasty, troops were stationed in the north of Baihua village, hence the name of Tanjia village, which was called Tanjia village after 1949.
History of construction
From Qin Dynasty to Song Dynasty, it belonged to Yuandong township of Wannian county.
Ming Dynasty belongs to yuandongli.
In 1730, it belonged to Yuandong society. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Wulong, Beichen, Baihua and Wumen warehouses in Xianning county.
In 1913, it belonged to Chang'an County.
In 1921, it belonged to two townships of Longshou and Weibin.
In 1945, Longshou township was partially divided into the 11th district of Xi'an city; xujiabao village was the residence of Longshou Township, and caotan street was the residence of Weibin township.
In June 1949, Longshou District of Chang'an County was set up, and the residence was miaozhang village. In July, Longshou district was abolished and merged into Weibin District, belonging to the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh townships.
In February 1954, Weibin District was changed into the seventh district.
In September 1954, 13 townships under the jurisdiction of the seventh district and 3 townships under the jurisdiction of the eighth district (Sanqiao) were merged to form caotan District of Xi'an City, which governs 16 townships.
In 1955, it was adjusted to 11 townships. Today, there are three townships in Tanjia area, namely, three townships (in goushang Village), four townships (in Zhaocun Street) and five townships (in High-speed Railway Village, later moved to Zhangjiabao).
In March 1956, the wujiapu village in the second township and some villages in the third, fourth and fifth townships merged to set up Tan hometown, which is located in Tanjia village.
In April 1957, it belonged to Weiyang District.
In August 1958, it was changed into a red commune, with jurisdiction over 25 production brigades.
In June 1960, it was incorporated into caotan commune as the management area.
In January 1962, it was changed into Tan's commune, with jurisdiction over 19 production teams.
October 1965, a suburb of Xi'an.
In May 1966, it was changed into red commune.
In May 1972, it was renamed Tan's commune.
In March 1980, it returned to Weiyang District.
In March 1984, Tan's hometown was re established, with jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages.
In February 1985, the red village was assigned to Zhangjiabao street.
In April 1987, the resident moved to the current site of Weibin street, xujiawan village.
In April 1998, seven villages were assigned to xujiawan street.
In March 2000, Tan's hometown was abolished and Tan's street was rebuilt; in June of the same year, Xue's village was transferred to Xu's street.
