Daming Palace Street
DAMINGGONG street, belonging to Weiyang District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Weiyang District. It is connected with xinjiamiao street in the East, DAMINGGONG National Heritage Park in the south, Zhangjiabao street in the West and Tanjia street in the north, with a total area of 11.5 square kilometers.
Daming Palace Street territory Tang Daming Palace Ruins, hence the name. Daming Palace, with its large scale and complete layout, is known as "the pinnacle of Chinese palace architecture". Since Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty, most of the emperors of Tang Dynasty lived in Daming Palace and dealt with the government affairs. They were the political and cultural centers of China for 220 years.

History of construction
Qin and Han dynasties belong to Zhiyang county and baling county respectively.
The Tang Dynasty belongs to Wannian county.
From Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Fanchuan county and Xianning county.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Chang'an County, then wumencang and Weibin District.
In 1934, it belonged to Longshou township.
In 1945, it was under the jurisdiction of the 11th district of Xi'an city.
In 1949, it first belonged to the third, fourth, fifth and sixth townships of the eleventh District of Xi'an City, and then to the third and fourth townships.
In March 1956, the third and fourth townships merged to form maqizhai township.
In August 1958, it was changed into maqizhai commune.
In May 1960, maqizhai commune and weiyangguan commune merged into DAMINGGONG commune.
In February 1962, it was renamed maqizhai commune.
In October 1966, it was renamed Yuejin commune.
In May 1972, it was renamed maqizhai commune.
In May 1979, it was renamed Daming Palace commune.
In June 1984, DAMINGGONG township was established.
In February 1985, the four villages of Fangjia village, Xiaojia village, erfuzhuang village and Nankang village in DAMINGGONG Township, and the three residents' committees of Fangxin village, erfuzhuang village and Lianhe village were assigned to erfuzhuang street.
In April 1998, xinjiamiao, Liunan, Liubei, Xinfang and guangdamen villages in DAMINGGONG Township were classified as xinjiamiao street.
In March 2000, DAMINGGONG township was abolished and DAMINGGONG street was set up. In April, the residence was moved from No. 46 Xuanwu road.
