Sananqulin temple was founded in 1515, 130 years earlier than Potala Palace (Potala Palace was built in 1645 ad in the 7th century). The founder was named baimagab (a native of Huolong in Gongbu area), belonging to the main Ba sect of pazhugaju in Tibetan Buddhism (spread from the development of linreba and zangbajar). Sanan Qulin temple was the most prosperous in baimagab period, covering an area of 3000 square meters. There are more than 1000 monks, including fields, pastures and four manors. The original main buildings were concentrated in the East, and distributed along the ridge from east to west, including Dukang hall, Buddha Hall, lamalacan hall, etc.; the easternmost end was zhaxia (monastery). After baimagab, the temple still has seven generations of reincarnation. With the change of the times, the center has been transferred and gradually lost its former prosperity, but it is still enduring.
