Bayi District, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs eight administrative villages, namely zhaxigang village, Luobu village, Dongjiu village, Layue village, Baimu village, baga village, Luomu village and dongbacai village. The town government is located in Luobu village. It is located in the east of Bayi District, Linzhi City, Tibet, about 80 kilometers away from Linzhi city. It is known as "linzhidong gate". The altitude of the town government is 3385 meters. The town covers an area of 3152.02 square kilometers. There are Lulang Huahai, Lulang Linhai, zhaxigang folk village, Sejila National Forest Park and other tourism resources. It is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral area.

Dongjiu district was established in 1961 and changed to township in 1988. In 1996, it covers an area of about 1000 square kilometers and has a population of 10000. It has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, including dongbacai, langlin, bengbacai (bengbacai), namai, zhaxigang, Zhongmai, baga, Gongci, gongdeng, lari, Dera, youba and Baimu. In 2003, the infrastructure construction of Lulang primary school was implemented with an investment of 1.5 million yuan.
In 2009, the government upgraded four family hotels in Lulang town by means of discount loans and financial subsidies.
In September 2016, the highway construction project from baga village to Luomu village of Lulang town was started, with a total investment of 31.218 million yuan.
In December 2016, Lulang town was listed in the third batch of national new urbanization comprehensive pilot sites
In 2017, with the counterpart support of Guangdong Province, Lulang international tourism town project was completed, with a total investment of 3.8 billion yuan.
Culture and education
Lulang primary school was founded in 1973 and originally belonged to Dongjiu township.
In 2000, Lulang primary school moved to Luobu village with the town government.
In 2003, Lulang primary school established distance education room.
In September 2004, Lulang primary school had 15 teachers, including 13 Tibetan and 2 Han, and 163 students, all of them Tibetan. The enrollment rate of school-age children in the town is 100%.
Spiritual civilization construction
On March 28, 2017, Lulang town carried out activities to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the liberation of millions of serfs in Tibet, including raising the national flag and singing the national anthem, art performance, horse racing, arrow ring, sending warmth from national highway 318, etc.

On December 17, 2017, he was awarded the honorary title of the fifth "most beautiful village in China".

Lulang town is located in Bayi District, Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, with an average altitude of 3385 meters.
