Dalong Township

Luolong County, Changdu City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the township and four village committees, namely Dalong village, Buda village, sedi village and Rongzhou village.

Located in the southwest of Changdu City, northwest of Luolong County, east of Mali Town, 88 kilometers away from the county.

Located in Nujiang Grand Canyon, it is a Typical Alpine Canyon landform.

The township covers an area of 446.69 square kilometers.

In 2017, there were 1583 people in the township.

It is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral Township, planting highland barley, wheat and rape, and Grazing Yak, cattle, goats and sheep.

Historical evolution

Dalong township was established in 1959, changed to commune in 1970, and restored to township in 1984.
