Bolong Township

Bolong township is a township under the jurisdiction of nimula County, Xigaze City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with an area of 2384.04 square kilometers and a population of 2813 (2017).

Nyalam County governs the township. "Bolong" is a Tibetan word, which means "Jianshangou". Bolong township was established in 1960, changed to commune in 1973, and restored to township in 1984. Located in the northwest of the county, 135 kilometers away from the county. The highway leading to Jilong county runs through the whole area. There are many rivers and lakes. It has eight village committees, namely Paizi village, Labu village, Silong village, xiaga village, Zhaqing village, ouyun village, jiuduo village, baimaqulin village and Russian Yuan village.
