Rixing Township
Rixing township is subordinate to Ganzi County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located in the west of Ganzi County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located in the south of Tibet Autonomous Region, the east of Shigatse region, and the upper reaches of the Nianchu river. It is 55 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total population of 2500 (2017).
brief introduction
There are two country roads. It has jurisdiction over eight village committees, namely pangzi, Taba, Chapu, Chunmei, Bailin, Kawa, Zada and yangka. Mainly in agriculture, planting highland barley, wheat, peas, rape, etc., there are national handicraft industry, township enterprises. In February 1987, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, yangga and luoger, the former Shengli and Jiefang townships, were merged into Rixing township.
Geography
Rich products and convenient transportation. To the East, you can go to Lhasa and Shannan; to the north, you can go to Shigatse; to the west, you can go through Gangba and Dingjie to Dingri; to the south, you can go through the beautiful Yadong Valley across the Himalayas to Yadong, the border port. Located between the Gangdise mountains and the Himalayas, the terrain is high in the north and south, low in the middle and West, with an average altitude of about 4000 meters. Both sides of the Nianchu River are canyon areas, with the highest altitude of 7191 meters. It belongs to the semi-arid monsoon climate zone of the plateau temperate zone.

It is dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry. With fertile land and convenient irrigation conditions, Jiangzi county is a commodity grain production base in Tibet and an advanced water conservancy County in China. The main crops are highland barley, winter wheat, spring wheat, pea, rape and so on. It mainly raises yak, yak, cattle, horse, sheep, goat, donkey, mule, etc.

Baiju temple, 3900 meters above sea level, is located in the northeast corner of Gyangze County, about 230 kilometers south of Lhasa and more than 100 kilometers east of Shigatse. Baiju temple is a Chinese name. Tibetan abbreviation "ban Kuo De Qing" means "auspicious wheel Da Le Temple". Baiju temple was built in 1427, the second year of Xuande reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Ming Dynasty. It took 10 years to complete. It is said that it was built by Ke Zhujie and redan yansangpa in 1418. the Baiju temple was established under the condition that all religious sects in Tibet fought against each other. Therefore, it can gather Sakya, Gru, Budun and other factions to coexist peacefully in one temple. Each sect has five or six "ZHACANG" (halls) in this temple. Therefore, it has a special position and influence in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. There are 16 ZHACANG in the temple. The main temple has three floors, and the hall is full of various styles of "Thangka", as well as a nearly 8-meter-high bronze Buddha statue. According to historical records, 14 tons of brass were used to cast the statue. There are more than 20 statues of Manjusri Bodhisattva and clay arhat in the East Chamber hall on the second floor of the main hall, which are art treasures of the Ming Dynasty.
