Yunhe town is located in the center of Bazi in Heqing County, which is the political, economic, cultural and information center of Heqing County. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East, adjacent to Taiping Village of Caohai town in the East, Heyi village of Jindun Township and tiantun village of Caohai town in the south, Anle and Xinfeng village of Caohai town in the west, Xinmin and luoweiyi village of Caohai town in the north.

During the period of Dali state in Song Dynasty, ten cities were built in the area of today's Guanxiang, which was the earliest county seat and collapsed at the end of Yuan Dynasty. In 1934, the League protection system was changed into District, township (town), Lu and neighbor system. Qing'an town and Weiyuan Town, which belong to the first district, have 44 Lu and 215 neighbors. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the district was withdrawn to expand the township, and the county town was set up, which was called Yunhe Town, with 12 baos and 97 Jias under its jurisdiction.
