Mingjiu town is located in the northeast of Mengzi City, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, 36 kilometers away from Mengzi County. Mingjiu town has prominent regional advantages, and is the junction of seven towns and five counties of two prefectures. It is adjacent to Laozhai Township in the East, Zhicun town in the south, xibeile Township in the west, Ashe Township in Yanshan County and Dehou town in Wenshan city in the north, Xinhua Township in Pingbian County in the East, and Yangjie Township in Kaiyuan city in the northwest.

1. Panax notoginseng

Panax notoginseng is called "the king of ginseng" by modern TCM pharmacists. It tastes sweet, slightly bitter and slightly warm.

Heart, liver and spleen meridian. Root tuber as medicine, "Sheng Xiao Shu bu", has the effect of removing blood stasis and hemostasis, promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. The six village committees of Mingjiu town all have Sanqi planting farmers, with a planting area of more than 5000 mu, a unit yield of 700 kg and a planting yield of about 11000 yuan. The planting technology of Panax notoginseng is high, and the requirements of climate, soil and environment are strict. Although the planting cost of Panax notoginseng is high and the market risk is high, its whole body is full of treasure, and its seeds, flowers, roots and leaves can be sold, so its economic benefits are considerable.

2. Flue cured tobacco

Flue cured tobacco is the largest pillar industry in Mingjiu Town, with a total of 8000 mu of Flue-cured Tobacco Planted in the town, 917 farmers, more than 1350 curing barn and 3 cluster curing barn. Since 2006, all of them have adopted centralized commercial floating nursery, with a total of 7 nursery bases and 1289 nursery pools (including 1120 conventional floating pools and 169 low substrate floating pools). Tobacco farmers in the whole town plant, pick, bake and tie the handle in strict accordance with the standard requirements of the tobacco department. Mingjiu town should grasp the policy of transferring flue-cured tobacco from dam area to mountainous area, and strive to develop to 15000 mu in the next five-year planning period.

3. Mingjiu pear

The main high quality pear varieties of Mingjiu are Huanghua pear, Zaosu pear and Cangxi pear. Mingjiu Huanghua pear is characterized by large and symmetrical fruit, excellent quality, high yield, wide adaptability and high efficiency. The fruit is cone-shaped, weighing about 180-200g per fruit, with yellowish brown skin, white flesh, tender flesh, juicy and sweet taste, containing about 12% soluble solids. Small core, high edible rate and high quality. High and stable yield, 100-150 kg of adult trees; the fruit skin of Mingjiu Zaosu is yellow green or green yellow, with smooth fruit surface, luster, thin and crisp skin, small fruit point, fine flesh, crisp and refreshing, less stone cells, extra much juice, light sweet or sweet taste, with an average single fruit weight of 250 G. Mingjiu Cangxi Sydney has the characteristics of large fruit, small core, crisp and tender meat, juicy, fragrant, sweet and slag. The single fruit weight is generally about 500 grams, the largest single fruit weight can reach more than 1.5 kg, and the edible part is as high as 90.4%.

Yuanshidong grotto temple is located in the west of Mingjiu Town, located in Mingjiu mountain of Mengzi County. Yuanshi cave, also known as Guanyin cave, was built in 1758. In the early years of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, Kaihua Fu Zhi, written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, was listed as a scenic spot. The cave is a limestone cave. It is a Buddhist temple where Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism coexist. Because jingling mountain looks like a lion, it is named Yuanshi cave. There are eight scenes inside and eight scenes outside the cave. The inner eight sceneries are Bagua pools; the whole yuanshidong ancient buildings are arranged in the shape of "spirit"; the reflection of the ancient buildings (as evidenced by the poem: the reflection of the mountain tower floats in the water, and the Lingshan mountain rises on the water. Downstairs, visitors go upstairs, and then go up to the top of the mountain from upstairs); half word couplet sentence: "the beautiful scenery of this mountain is just in time, and ancient poems are discussed in front of the rock under the moon; the towering temples are full of bells and drums, and the night is still and the stars are moving; how many spiritual roots cultivate Buddha's land, and they have worked hard; when to repair Guanyin cave, they will play chess with the immortals." A pair of giant lions and a pair of Unicorns pasted from porcelain bowls have not been found in other parts of China except Taiwan and the vulture; there is a small hole above Tianyuan lion cave, the first cave in southern Yunnan, where no rain drops into the cave even if it rains heavily; there are eighteen Arhats formed by natural stalactites in the cave; there are purple bamboo forests formed by natural stalactites in the cave and GuanShiYin in the South China Sea. Outside the eight sceneries are Kui Pavilion, Yudai River, Hongqiao Suo Cui, Meimei Shuo Fu, Shuangshi, xianrenjiao, dashidong and Jieyuan bridge.

1. Power facilities

At present, there are 95 transformer stations in Mingjiu Town, among which 38 transformer stations have been transformed from rural power grid, 22 transformer stations have not been transformed from rural power grid, and 35 transformer stations are for private power and unit use. The power supply project of daniuchang and Xiaolongtan villages without electricity has been completed. Chachong power station is located about one kilometer away from chachong village, Laozhai Township, Mengzi. The installed capacity of the station is 2 × 800 kW, the working head is 53.9 m, the flow rate is 4.11 m3 / s, the designed annual power generation is 9.823 million kwh, and the annual utilization hours is 6139 hours. The total investment of the station is 5.13 million yuan. Part of the funding for the construction of the power station comes from Mingjiu and Laozhai.

2. Communication facilities

In 1998, the program-controlled telephone was opened in Mingjiu town. There are 1023 mobile users, 696 fixed phones and 130 PHS in the town. Now, we have 305 telephones. Mobile phone and smart phone users have been opened, and six village committees in Mingjiu town have an organic station. 3. Road facilities

Six village committees in the town have implemented the village to village connection project. 52 of the 64 natural villages are connected with highways, with 35 km of gravel pavement. The Mengzi Wenshan highway passes through the town. The county-level four-level highway from Shidong village to Ashe township of Wenshan has been officially opened. Three access highways involving two prefectures, three counties and five villages are under construction, with a total pavement length of 32 km. Folk customs

1. Huashan Festival

Huashan Festival, also known as stepping on Huashan, is a traditional festival of Miao people with a long history, which lasts from the second day of the first month to the ninth day of the first month every year. On these days of every year, Miao compatriots, men and women, young and old, wear festival costumes and rush to Huashan site to enjoy themselves. Huashan festival was originally a festival for Miao young men and women to fall in love freely. On the day of the festival, there are a large number of people on Huashan field, mainly engaged in bullfight, flower climbing, Lusheng dance, men and women's singing and other activities. With the development of the situation, in addition to retaining the original traditional projects, activities such as fighting chicken, fighting sheep, fighting birds, and fighting tripod have been added.

2. Lantern

It has a long history. It can be performed at every wedding and funeral. Members are not limited to men, women, old and young. Vulture lanterns mainly sing storyline operas, such as "three visits to relatives", "camel returns to the door", "Qin Xuemei's filial piety", "little sheep", etc. modern lantern repertoire includes crosstalk, sketches and some programs created and arranged closely following the ideological line of the Central Committee.
