Bicheng town

Bicheng town is located in the east of Lufeng City, in the center of luocibazi, bordering Fumin County in the East, Qinfeng town in the south, Heping Town in the west, Renxing town in the north, and Anwu highway. The seat of the town government is 42 km away from Lufeng City, 120 km away from Chuxiong, and 98 km away from Kunming, the provincial capital.

The town has 15 villager committees, 97 natural villages and 236 villager groups in Bicheng, Xiacun, Shangcun, Hongliu, Xishan, Qianying, Xihe, Wansong, Maojie, Shengli, Fanchang, jiezichang, zhangtong, Haoyi and Qingshan. Except for Qingshan village, the other 14 village committees are Pingba district. There are 2 middle schools and 14 primary schools in the administrative region.

Luoci hot spring is famous for its geothermal resources, abundant water resources and excellent water quality. There are many kinds of animal and plant resources, especially laoqingshan.

Luoci hot spring is rich in water resources. The water temperature is 36 ℃ ~ 43 ℃. It belongs to calcium magnesium bicarbonate type. It is rich in dozens of trace elements such as sulfur, phosphorus, iron, silicon, zinc and so on. It is known as "hot spring gargle jade".

Population nationality

At the end of 2006, there were 11686 households with a total population of 45976, an increase of 353 over the previous year. Among them, there are 23129 males, 22847 females, 44062 agricultural population and 1914 non-agricultural population. In the total population, there are 2954 ethnic minorities, accounting for 6.43% of the total population. Among them, there are 1814 Yi people, accounting for 3.95% of the total population and 61.41% of the ethnic minorities. There are many cultural relics and historic sites in Bicheng

1. Maidichong, Shengli village committee of Bicheng Town, unearthed a plain faced bronze drum of the Warring States period in 1984, which is listed as a national second-class cultural relic;

2. Zhang Tongliang piled a tomb. In zhangtong of Bicheng Town, the earth was sealed in the shape of steamed bread, with a circumference of 70 meters and a height of 6 meters. The underground is a brick tomb, which is rectangular and divided into front and back chambers. There is a short passage in front of the front chamber. The top is made of wedge-shaped brick as a semicircular spire. The bottom is paved with bricks and there are drainage ditches on both sides. There are three kinds of geometric patterns on one side of the brick, mainly prismatic. In February 1974, the provincial cultural relics team unearthed 30 pieces of five plants and a single fish pattern bronze wash, one kettle, one steamer, one chicken shaped pot, one spoon, one ring head and one iron knife.
