Dongpo Dai nationality township is the only nationality township in Wuding county. It is located on the Bank of Jinsha River and in the northwest of Wuding county. It is 108 km away from the county seat and covers an area of 168 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Wande Township and Fawo Township in the East, Tianxin Township and Gaoqiao Town in the south, Huanzhou Township in the West and Jiangyi township of Yuanmou County across the Jinsha River in the north.
