Jiulong Township
Anyue County, Sichuan Province, is under the jurisdiction of Jiulong city. It is located in the south of Anyue County, adjacent to Qingliu Township in the East, Daping Township in the south, Zhenzi town in the West and Wenhua town in the north, with a total area of 27.62 square kilometers.
As of October 2019, nine administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of rural Kowloon. By the end of 2018, 12879 households in Jiulong Township registered residence. In December 2019, Daping Township and Jiulong township will be abolished and Daping town will be established. The administrative region of Daping town will be the administrative region of Daping township.
Historical evolution
It is said that the local flood was raging. One day, nine big snakes were found in the flood, and then they turned into nine giant dragons, so they were named "Jiulong".
