Historical changes
According to Chengjiang Fu Zhi written by Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, Yangzong was named "qiangzong" in Tang Dynasty. Duan's name was "qiangzong" because of its name, and later it was mistakenly named Yangzong. At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, there were thousands of households, and in the middle of the Yuan Dynasty, it was changed into a county In the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi, it was incorporated into Heyang. "
According to other historical materials, Yuyuan (now Chengjiang) county was established in the fifth year of Yuanfeng (106 BC) of Han Dynasty, and Yangzong was under the jurisdiction of Yuyuan county. In the first year of Shangyuan (760), Yunnan was ruled by Nanzhao state. Heyang County was set up in Chengjiang, and Yangzong was under the jurisdiction of Heyang County. In 937, Duan Siping established Dali state, with 37 divisions in eastern Yunnan. Yangzong was the "powerful division", which was equivalent to the establishment of a county.
In 1276, Chengjiang road was set up under the jurisdiction of qiangzong county. "Qiangzong" was later misinterpreted as "Yangzong". The county was governed in the present Yangzong city (where the town is located). It was not incorporated into Heyang County until the eighth year of Kangxi reign (1669). For more than 2000 years, Yangzong and Chengjiang have been closely linked.
Historically, most of the areas around Yangzonghai were under the jurisdiction of Yangzong, with a total area of 292 square kilometers. Later, due to the adjustment of administrative areas, seven townships, including meadow, qiansuo, tuguan, Dima, Longchi, Zhuyuan and Huangni, were put under the jurisdiction of Yiliang County in July 1953, and Malang township was put under the jurisdiction of Chenggong County in December 1957. The population of 13080 and the land area of 148.54 square kilometers were allocated twice. At that time, the land area of Yangzong suddenly decreased by 50.86%, leaving only 143.46 square kilometers, and the population decreased by more than 60%.
In 1950, Yangzong was established as the Fourth District of Chengjiang County, and the district government established the Confucian temple in yangzongcheng. In 1958, the rocket people's commune was established and later changed to Yangzong commune. The commune is located in yangzongcheng Confucian temple. Yangzong district was established in 1983, and the district government established the Confucian temple in yangzongcheng.
In 1987, Yangzong township was established, and the township government established the Confucian temple in yangzongcheng. In 1990, Yangzong town was established, and the town government established the Confucian temple in yangzongcheng. In May 1997, the town government built a new office building in the southwest of the old city, and the town government moved out of the Confucian temple in Yangzong old city.
In history, the indigenous people of Yangzong are mainly Yi people, which is based on the record of Chengjiang Prefecture: "some people lived in the Tang Dynasty", which shows that Yangzong was occupied by Yi people in the Tang Dynasty.
In 937, Dali convened a meeting of 37 Yi leaders and generals in eastern Yunnan in Qujing. Later, it set up a "alliance monument" to record the actual situation of the meeting. At that time, the whole of eastern Yunnan was the territory of Yi people, and Yangzong was the "strong Zong capital" among the 37 tribes.
In 1381, the Ming Dynasty's 300000 troops attacked the king of Liang in Yunnan. After the victory, 300000 troops stayed in Central Yunnan and settled in the fields. In the second year, Wang muying of Yunnan Province changed Chengjiang road into Chengjiang mansion in Yuan Dynasty. Yangzong was a county under the jurisdiction of Chengjiang mansion. Mu Ying was not at ease with Yunnan, and moved 2.5 million immigrants from Jiangnan, scattered in Central Yunnan.
Within two years, 2.8 million people, mostly Han people, suddenly came to central Yunnan, which soon changed the ethnic structure of central Yunnan. Han people were dominant. Some Yi people moved to other places, and some were sinicized. Up to now, Yangzong's territory is full of Han villages.
Among the existing Han population in Yangzong, some people's ancestors came from the North during the Ming Dynasty, and some people's ancestors were formed by the Sinicization of the local indigenous people. Over the past 600 years, they have been integrated into one another. You have me and I have you. It's hard to part them. They form a whole national family.
