Human history
Bole middle school is the source of revolutionary struggle in Northeast Yunnan. Wen Peiqun, the founder of Bole middle school. In the summer of 1937, fan Zicheng, a member of the Communist Party of China, came to the school with the important task of establishing a revolutionary base. With Wen Peiqun's joint efforts, he successively set up junior high school, simple normal school and agricultural vocational school. Under the leadership of the Yunnan Provincial Working Committee of the CPC, more than 40 revolutionary bases have been established in Zhanyi, Xuanwei, Pingyi (Jinfuyuan), Qujing and other counties. On September 5, 1948, Bole middle school, together with the peasant armed forces nearby, successfully held an armed uprising under the support of the third detachment of the Yunnan People's self rescue army. After that, the uprising troops moved to Yunnan and made due contributions to the liberation of Yunnan, especially in Northeast Yunnan.
