Haoshan Township
Haoshan Township, named after dahaoshan, is under the jurisdiction of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province.
Haoshan township is adjacent to Anhui Province in the southeast, northeast and southwest. It was formed by the combination of Haixing Township and Haoshan township. Haixing township was once the seat of the Central County Committee of seven counties, including Duchang, Pengze and hukou, and historically belonged to the old revolutionary base area.
With a total area of 156.7 square kilometers, the township has 11 administrative villages and a population of 14950 (2017).
Evolution of organizational system
Haoshan township is named after dahaoshan. Before liberation, it belonged to Fuxing township. At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to Liushu, Bafang, Meiling, Lanling and other townships in six districts (Haoshan District). In 1955, there were 32 junior societies. In 1956, he became Liushu Township and became three senior societies. In 1958, Haoshan commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into Haoshan township. In 1997, with an area of 98.8 square kilometers and a population of 10000, Liushu, Meiling, Tongsheng, Minshan, Qiaoting, Xinling and gangling are under its jurisdiction. The township government is located in Liushu, 40 kilometers away from the county seat. In 2001, Haixing township was merged into Haoshan township. In 2003, zhaojigou village was merged into Haoshan village, and the Township Forest Farm was merged into Meiling village.
