Haiken Street
Haiken street, subordinate to Longhua District, Haikou City, Hainan Province, is located in the southwest of Longhua District, with Jinken road in the East, Nanhai Avenue in the south, Qiuhai Avenue in the West and haixiu road in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 3.88 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 2.79 km, with a total area of 10.8 square kilometers.
In July 1987, it was formerly under the management of haixiu Township, Haikou City. Established in July 1989, it is an agency of Xiuying District Government of Haikou City. In June 1991, it was transferred to Xinhua District Government of Haikou City. In October 2002, Haikou City District was adjusted, Xinhua District was renamed Longhua District, Haiken street was under the jurisdiction of Longhua District. At the end of 2011, Haiken sub district had a total population of 108000, including 64224 permanent residents and 43776 floating population. As of June 2020, Haiken street has jurisdiction over 14 communities, and its sub district office is located at 115 Haiken Road, binliannan community.
In 2011, Haiken Street achieved 16 million yuan of district level revenue, of which 9 million yuan came from "building economy", accounting for 56% of the total revenue.
