Luoxiang town is a new town built in 1992. It is located in the northeast of Congjiang County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, close to the border between Guizhou and Guangxi. It borders Liping County in the East and North, Qingyun Township in the South and Guandong town in the West. It is 45 kilometers away from the county. It is the east gate from the river to Guangxi and Hunan. It is known as "Congjiang gate".

Luoxiang town is located in the northeast of Congjiang County, 45 kilometers away from the county. The geographical coordinates are 109 degrees 05 minutes to 109 degrees 11 minutes east longitude and 25 degrees 50 minutes to 25 degrees 56 minutes north latitude. It borders Zhaoxing township of Liping County in the East, Qingyun Township in the South and Guandong town in the southwest. It is the east gate from the river to Guangxi and Hunan, known as "Congjiang Facade". The Guizhou section of Xiamen Chengdu expressway was opened to traffic in 2011, and Congjiang station was set up in the town after Guizhou Guangzhou high speed railway was opened to traffic at the end of 2014. It is a large county-level station of Guiyang Guangzhou high speed railway.
