Bayin Taohai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hainan District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Hainan District. It borders Qipanjing Town, etoke banner, Ordos City in the southeast, Taole County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the south, Shizuishan City and Wuda District across the river in the west, and Haibowan District in the north, with an administrative area of 557 square kilometers.

In 1965, bayintaohai town was established, formerly known as bayintaohai Water Conservancy Committee; in 1983, bayintaohai township was changed; in 2006, bayintaohai township was merged with Dongfeng Township to form bayintaohai town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Bayin Tao Hai town was 18560. As of June 2020, bayintaohai town has one community and eight administrative villages.

History of construction

In 1965, the town of bayintaohai was established, formerly known as bayintaohai Water Conservancy Committee.

In 1966, taostu River and sidaoquanzi 2 commune were established.

In 1968, the two communes were merged into Bayin Taohai commune, and the Revolutionary Committee of Bayin Taohai commune was changed in the same year.

In 1983, it was changed to Taohai township of Bayin.

On March 8, 1997, YIKEZHAO League was transferred to Hainan District of Wuhai City.

In 2006, bayintaohai township was merged with the former Dongfeng Township to establish bayintaohai town.
