Wangmu sub district office of Wangmo county is located in the middle of the county, with Daguan town in the East, Zhexiang town in the south, Pingdong street in the West and Xintun street in the north. Evolution of organizational system
In 1727, the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou proposed to set up Yongfeng Prefecture, with the south of Hongshui River as Sicheng Prefecture of Guangxi, the south of Nanpan River as Xilong Prefecture, and the north of Liangjiang River as Yongfeng Prefecture. Later, the Ministry of officials reconsidered that Changba in the north of Jiangbei belonged to Yongfeng Prefecture, and the Prefecture was governed by Changba (now the office of Wangmu subdistrict is flat around), and the prefecture belonged to Nanlong Prefecture of Guizhou The camp was located in the second middle school of Wangmo (formerly known as Yingpan), and later moved to minqiu (now Zhenfeng mingu town) due to the hot climate. In the Qing Dynasty, Wang Mu Xun was set up, which was called Wang Mu in ancient times. It was translated into Buyi language, meaning the holy land of Wang Fu.
Wangmu town was established in 1932, and it was the county government since 1940. The county is divided into five districts, 17 joint guarantees, 114 guarantees and 1416 a. the first district governs five joint guarantees, including Chengxiang, Fukai, Balai and Xintun. On January 2, 1942, the original Chengxiang joint insurance was renamed Fuxing town.
In 1958, Fuxing commune was established, and then Chengguan commune was established. In 1984, Fuxing town and Luolang, Pingdong and pingrao townships were established. In 1992, the three townships were merged into Fuxing town,
On October 9, 2013, Fuxing town was abolished and Wangmu street and Pingdong street were set up.
In July 2019, Guizhou Provincial People's government agreed to adjust the administrative division of Wangmu street, and set up Pantao street in Pinglang community, Chengnan community, pantaoyuan community, Fulin community and ganlai village.
