Jingjiao Tujia township is an ethnic township under the jurisdiction of Dejiang County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province. Jingjiao Tujia township is located 500 meters in front of 167 kilometers of 326 national highway, 18 kilometers away from the county seat. National Highway 326 and dewu highway run through it. The total administrative area of the township is 97.65 square kilometers, which governs 17 administrative villages and 121 villager groups. The township is a small poverty-stricken Township with high mountains and steep slopes, serious soil erosion, backward science, education and culture, frequent natural disasters, large poverty area and deep poverty degree.
The situation of villages and towns
At the end of 2004, the total population was 17377, with 903.67 hectares of arable land, including 435.93 hectares of farmland and 467.73 hectares of soil. There are Tujia, Han, Miao and other nationalities in the territory, of which Tujia accounts for more than 88%. Due to its low altitude, special geographical location and strong ethnic customs, Tujia culture has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of Nuo culture, known as the "Pearl of the horseshoe River". The township is a typical karst karst landform, the main mineral resources are coal, mercury, iron, copper, fluorite, barite and so on. There are horseshoe River, Shanshu River and Jiaokou River in the territory, which are rich in water resources. Capital and technology can be introduced for cascade development. A small power station has been built in Jiaokou with a capital of 2 million yuan. Some businessmen have invested 30 million yuan to build xinkeng power station, which is expected to be put into use in 2006. It has 6 county-level tourist attractions, including 3 cultural relics and 3 natural scenic spots. The famous stone layer dam tombs, Shanyuan ancient dragon gate and horseshoe Gorge Scenic spots are good places for leisure, tourism and fishing.

There are 16 villages (communities) with electricity, 1 temporary postman, 16 villages with program-controlled telephone, 16 villages with mobile and 8 villages with Unicom communication, 6 villages with distance education network, 1 small reservoir, 5 mountain ponds, 107 small pools, 46 kilometers of rivers, 78 kilometers of weirs and canals, 2 Jiaokou small hydropower stations and 8000 kW xinkeng hydropower station.

In 2013, there was one nine-year school in the township, two completed primary schools in the District, eight public teaching centers and one private teaching center, all of which achieved the goal of "universal nine", with 2434 primary and secondary school students. There are one Township Central kindergarten and 10 public mountain village kindergartens. Preschool education has been basically popularized. There is one township cultural station, one village covered by closed-circuit television, and all villages in the township covered by ground satellite receiving network and rural library.
