Changbao town is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Dejiang County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, China. Located in the southeast of the county, the township government is 23 kilometers away from the county. It borders fengxiangxi town in the East, Chaodi town in the south, Gonghe Township in the west, and Tongjing Township and Wenping town in the north. Located at 10814-10822 E and 2804-2816 n, it is 13.6 km long from east to west and 12.3 km wide from north to south. It has a perimeter of 47.40 kilometers and a total area of 92.46 square kilometers.

Basic information

Changbao town is located in the South East of Dejiang County. The people's Government of Changbao town is 28 kilometers away from the county. The town is 13.6 km long from east to west and 12.3 km wide from south to north. It is adjacent to two townships and four towns, fengxiangxi town in the East, Chaodi town in the south, Gonghe Township and Wenping town in the west, Tongjing Township and Jiashi town in Yanhe County in the north. It has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, one community and 174 villager groups, with a population of more than 6500 households and more than 30000 people. Water conservancy

Although Wujiang River passes through Changpu, the water source condition is poor and it is difficult for people and livestock to drink water. It is a typical water shortage area, especially the engineering water shortage is serious. Twelve villages in the town are short of water. There are mainly more than 17 large and small reservoirs in Tiangou, Aotian and Xinmin, which have been unable to store water normally due to years of disrepair. From 2001 to now, under the leadership of the county Party committee and the county people's government, with the help of the County Water Conservancy Bureau and relevant units, and with the support of all leading comrades working outside Changpu, we have completed the drainage works of Bashang and Heixi depressions, repaired the Shantang reservoirs such as Xinmin, yangjingping, dazhutou, Dongshan, Sanjiao, greening, lighthouse, Dongxi, majiaxi, Yanghe, and met some requirements Farmland irrigation. The total flooded area is 2201.82 mu, including 386.5 mu of paddy field and 222.95 mu of dry land. In addition, the new site covers a total area of 251.65 mu, involving 138 families.
