Dabachang town
Dabachang town is located in the southeast of Sinan County, Guizhou Province, adjacent to Tianqiao Township, Xinglong Township, shaojiaqiao Town, Tangtou Town, and Yinjiang and Shiqian counties. The average altitude is between 680 and 700 meters. Zhangziyan, the highest peak, is 1481 meters above sea level, malazi, the exit of Longdi River, the lowest, is 390 meters above sea level, and the residence of town government is 558 meters above sea level. It is a typical mountainous area with obvious karst features, and the exposed rock strata are mainly carbonate rocks.

Historical evolution
The terrain here is flat. It is a dam in the mountains. It was an important market in the Ming Dynasty, so it was named "dabachang".
Since the Ming Dynasty, dabachang has been under the jurisdiction of Sizhou xuanweisi, Sinan xuanweisi, Sinan Prefecture and Sinan County.

In December 1949, Sinan was divided into six military supervision areas. Dabachang is the fifth military supervision area, which governs three townships: Siwei, Liuhe and yanrao. On February 1, 1950, Sinan County was divided into 7 districts and 19 townships. Dabachang was the seventh district. In October of the same year, the District People's government was changed into the district office, and yanrao township was designated as the Sixth District. In July 1955, the seventh district was officially named dabachang District, and the district office was located on dabachang street. In 1956, the whole area was adjusted to 11 townships, namely dams, De Hao, Tianqiao, Xing long, Dali, Zao Tong, Daxing, Daxi, Tianping, Pan Xi and Wutong.
In 1962, the administrative departments were revoked to the district offices, and 6 commune management committees were set up: Zao Tong, Daxing, Tianqiao, Wutong, Xing long and dams. In February 1963, 11 people's communes were established. In 1971, the Pan Xi commune was revoked and merged into the Wutong commune, and the Tian Ping commune was revoked into the Xing Long commune and the de ho commune. In 1984, the township was established by the society, and 9 townships were built, including dams, official villages, flyovers, Wutong, De Hao, Xing Long Chang, Dayan, Qinggang garden and Tongzi garden.
Wutong Township, Wutong Township, Tak Lung Township and de JE Township were merged into two villages in the early October 1992. The 2 villages, namely, Wanqiao, Tiantian, Wutong, dry stream, old Mu Lin, Zhang Jiazhai, national day and other 2 villages, Nanshan, Mei Zi Bao and other 2 villages merged into Tianqiao Township, and 6 villages in Wutong Township, and 5 villages were incorporated into Shaojia bridge. One village, Star Village, was incorporated into Dachang town. The dam town is composed of Dama Township, Qinggang Yuan Township, Tongzi Garden Township, 7 villages of Guan Zhai Township, monkey village, village of Yang Jia Zhai, Xiao De Hao village and star village of Wutong township. It has 29 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committees and 216 villagers' groups.
In January 2007, the village groups were merged into 10 administrative villages, including Daba, Longjiang, GuanZhai, Zhushan, Mingxing, Yaoshang, tongziyuan, Guangming, qinggangyuan, Honglian, and 122 villager groups.
In 2011, the village groups were merged into 22 administrative villages, one community and 144 villager groups.

Limestone is widely distributed in the town, with many karst caves, deep valley and low water level. It is a town with better water resources in the county. There are wengla River, xiangshuidong River, maojiayan River and longdijiang River in the town. There are five reservoirs, Limin, xiaochalin, shaujiwan, maojiayan and tuguangou, with water storage capacity of 4.5 million cubic meters. There are two underground wells. Although the water resources of the whole town are good, the construction of water conservancy facilities is weak, and the engineering water shortage is serious.

The coal reserves are 3.1 million tons, mainly distributed in Pingxing, zaoping, qingfuyuan, tongziyuan, Yaoshang and other villages.
