It belongs to Yuping County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province. Located in the northeast corner of Yuping Dong Autonomous County, it is adjacent to Yutang Township and Chadian town in Wanshan District of Tongren City in the northwest, gaolouping Township in Wanshan District in the northeast and Tianping town in the south, with a total area of 27 square kilometers. Under the jurisdiction of Yayu village, Guojiawan village, wengpao village and shasha'ao village, there are four villages. The terrain is mainly low hills and low mountains, with an average altitude of about 700 meters. The terrain is relatively flat and suitable for development. Yuping county is a subtropical monsoon humid area. It has the coolest summer climate in Yuping county. It is a summer resort for people. Yayu township is located in the center of yutongsong Qiandong industrial cluster, the core industrial zone of Tongren City. There are Tongda expressway, Yutong high-grade highway, and Tongyu railway, the connecting line of Shanghai Kunming high-speed railway, which is about to start. Yayu township is located in the northeast corner of Yuping Dong Autonomous County, 109 ° 06 ′ e to 109 ° 09 ′ E and 27 ° 28 ′ n to 27 ° 32 ′ n. It is adjacent to Yutang Township and Chadian town of Tongren City in the northwest, gaolouping township of Wanshan Special Zone in the northeast, and Tianping town of the county in the south. It is 42 kilometers away from Yuping County, 26 kilometers away from Tongren City, 50 kilometers away from Daxing airport, 28 kilometers away from Dalong railway station (freight station) and 26 kilometers away from Tongren railway station.

The main roads in Yayu Township include Tongren Dalong Expressway and S201 Yutong high-grade highway, which have been completed and opened to traffic, and are only 1 km away from the exit of Wanshan station (laoshankou) toll station of Tongda expressway.

Railway

Yuping Tongren connecting line of Shanghai Kunming high speed railway will be constructed on December 1, 2013, and Wanshan station will be set up in fujiawan of Yayu township. After the completion of the railway, Tongren can be directly connected to Chongqing and Chengdu in the north, and Shanghai Kunming high speed railway can be directly connected to North China, the Yangtze River Delta, Guiyang and other large and medium-sized cities with high-speed railway in China in the south.

The most famous one is the ten thousand mu terraced fields in Guojiawan village. According to the investigation, an underground karst cave, wind tunnel, was found in wengpao village, Yayu Township, which needs to be developed and utilized.
