Industrial Development
The industrial structure of Bandi township is single, and farmers mainly rely on planting and breeding to make a living. Due to the poor land, the output of planting industry is low; due to the long breeding cycle, the marketing rate of breeding industry is low; coupled with the poor market conditions, the effect of increasing farmers' industrial income is poor. In addition, the leading industry is not prominent, farmers are scattered planting, breeding, it is difficult to form the corresponding scale efficiency, realize the economic value of the industry. In 2009, the planting area of crops was 21349 mu, including 21149 mu of grain crops. The total grain output was 5476 tons, with an average yield of 259 kg per mu, which was the lower level of the whole county. Farmers have 365 kg of grain per capita. The extension area of improved varieties is only 1000 mu, accounting for 4.7% of the sown area of grain. The content of science and technology is low, and the cultivation form is extensive. Development of social undertakings
There are 6 primary schools, 1 middle school and 8 clinics in the township. The software and hardware facilities of primary and secondary schools in the township are generally backward, which seriously restricts the improvement of local education level. There is no fixed place for cultural activities, villagers seldom participate in or organize cultural activities, and medical and health conditions are poor, mainly due to the lack of medical facilities and medical workers. It is difficult and expensive to see a doctor in the whole township; satellite, radio and television signals are unstable in the whole township; sports activities are rarely carried out due to the lack of venues and effective organization. In short, the development of social undertakings in the township is at a backward level. However, the ancient Nuo opera "CuO Tai Ji", which is known as "living fossil of drama" by experts and scholars at home and abroad, has been effectively protected and inherited by local villagers. This is of great significance to promote the tourism and economic development of Bandi township.

Soil resources
Due to the influence of bioclimate, geomorphic combination and human activities, the soil distribution in Bandi township has not only the regularity of zonal soil distribution, but also the characteristics of deep valley, strong erosion and relatively complete plateau soil distribution, mainly yellow brown soil and alpine meadow soil. In some areas, the rocky desertification is serious, the soil coverage rate is low, the soil layer is thin, the soil organic matter content is low, the viscosity is big, most of the cultivated land is low yield type, some of the cultivated land bedrock is bare, the soil fertility is poor. The vegetation is sparse, the ecological environment is fragile, and the soil is acidic. As a result, the growth cycle of crops is long and the seed setting rate is low.
Hydrological resources
The township is short of water resources, rivers are scarce, water is insufficient, and seasonal distribution. The supply of water resources mainly depends on rainwater, which is seriously affected by the seasonal (the water quantity is slightly more in spring and summer, but obviously less in autumn and winter) and can not meet the needs of the masses for production and living water. Some domestic water quality is poor, not suitable for long-term drinking. In addition, vegetation has been damaged, soil erosion and other reasons, the situation of water resources has worsened.
