Chengzhai town

Chengzhai town is a township under the jurisdiction of Xishui County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Xishui River Basin in the north of Xishui County, 27 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Sancha River scenic spot and Liangcun town in the East, Shibao town in Chishui City in the west, and Fubao town in Hejiang County, Sichuan Province in the north. The lowest altitude is 450 meters, and the highest altitude is 1648 meters.

Evolution of organizational system

Chengzhai town has a profound historical and cultural heritage. During the long march of the Red Army, the commanders and soldiers of the ninth Red Army left bright red footprints here. Yuan SHIMENG, the Grand Marshal of Pingnan in the Song Dynasty, and his descendants settled down and multiplied here. The ancestral halls of yuan and Yang witnessed the ancient history of Chengzhai town.

In 1992, the four townships of Shimen, Chengzhai, Hongqi and dabaitang in the former Donghuang district were merged into xinchengzhai township.

On December 28, 2015, Guizhou provincial government (QFH [2015] No. 319) approved to cancel the establishment of Chengzhai town in Chengzhai township of Xishui County.

Since 1993, the township's agricultural production has focused on the implementation of the two-way responsibility system of administration and technology, the promotion of scientific planting, and the adjustment of industrial structure.

In 2006, improved varieties of rice and corn were fully realized in the township, with a popularization rate of 100%. The total amount of grain in the township reached 8619 tons, achieving the goal of increasing grain by 50 Jin per capita, docking with the 200000 tons bamboo pulp project in Chishui, and building nearly 10000 mu green bamboo base. 200 mu of traditional Chinese medicine were planted in order. 2000 mu of Xiaoxiang garlic and 100 mu of edible fungi were planted.

In 2007, 8300 mu of rice and 7000 mu of corn were sown in spring. Popularize new agricultural technology in a large area, and plant 100 mu of virus-free sweet potato. The total output of summer grain is 3013 tons, including 1010 tons of small grains, 490 tons of beans and 1093 tons of potatoes. The total grain output increased by 1.8% over the previous year.

In 2008, 2000 mu of high-quality rice, 1000 mu of Platycodon grandiflorum, 2000 mu of vegetables, 1000 mu of Eucalyptus and 200 mu of chaotianwang pepper base were newly developed in the township, and 50 mu of ginger was introduced and planted. 100 large rural science and technology demonstration households have been cultivated.

In 2009, the agricultural subsidy policy was thoroughly implemented. We implemented the subsidy policy for household appliances, agricultural machinery, automobiles and motorcycles to the countryside, and subsidized 148 sets of agricultural machinery and household appliances, with a subsidy of 52910.04 yuan. Establish and implement the "one card" system of agricultural subsidies. With the goal of standardized and scientific planting, we should pay close attention to the work of spring farming and autumn planting. We should vigorously encourage land circulation and develop modern agriculture in a diversified way. Strengthen agricultural machinery and equipment, improve the level of agricultural mechanization farming and processing. Hybrid maize, hybrid rape and new wheat varieties neimai 836 and Chuanmai 10 were planted. 500 mu of high-quality red garlic and 1000 mu of vegetables are planted. We should vigorously adjust the agricultural industrial structure by means of land contracting by large households and government subsidies. Shimen village develops 200 mu of paddy field and fish farming; luoyudong village cultivates 1000 mu of Chinese herbal medicine Platycodon grandiflorum; Luohansi village cultivates 300 mu of sunflower; Zhang Xinggui, an expert in vegetable cultivation, introduces 200 mu of vegetables in Yinjiang village; uses the "rent back and package" mode to plant 1000 mu of red grain, which drives farmers to plant 1000 mu of red grain; daheshui village and Zhongxin village develop 100 mu of small fragrant garlic demonstration sites, which also drives the whole village Rural households planted 500 mu of Xiaoxiang garlic. The industrial structure adjustment of the whole township has stepped onto a new stage.

In 2010, the township built 7000 mu of rice base for grain production project, including 500 mu of high-quality and high-yield base and 3000 mu of corn base. The bamboo professional cooperative was officially put into operation. Shimen village has built 50 mu strawberry base, 50 mu pepper seedling experiment base and 6 Mu Gui Garden on the basis of 300 mu rice field fish breeding. The base construction of Chinese herbal medicine, waxberry and Eucalyptus in luoyudong village was consolidated. Yinjiang village will build 200 mu potato demonstration site, luoyudong 200 mu rape demonstration site, central village 100 mu forage demonstration site, and Luohansi 200 mu belt rotation wheat demonstration site.
