Mandong town
MANDONG Town, belonging to Jiaxiang County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Jiaxiang County, adjacent to Huji town of Jinxiang in the East, Yangshan town of Jinxiang in the south, Hetaoyuan town of Juye County in the west, Zhifang town in the north and Jintun town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 40.56 square kilometers.
From the Western Zhou Dynasty to the spring and Autumn period, the territory of Mandong town was jiaoguo and Xianqiu; from the Qin Dynasty to the Western Han Dynasty, it was Yuanqi County; from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was suishan community of Jiaxiang County; after 1949, it was the third district of Jiaxiang County. In November 1956, it was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township, and MANDONG township was established; in September 1958, it was classified as Gaofeng commune; in December of the same year, Jiaxiang County was abolished and incorporated into Huji commune of Jinxiang County; in 1962, Jiaxiang County was restored and established Man Tong commune; in 1984, it was changed to full Tung Village; by the end of 2018, there were 35311 registered residence population in man Dong town; as at June 2020, 19 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of man Tong town; the people's Government of the town was in the village of man Tong.

History of construction

In 1962, Jiaxiang County was restored and man Dong commune was established.
